A story. A dream. A journal. A place where dreams become a reality.

About me:

My name is Jillie and I am 25 years old. I graduated with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology about three years ago and after graduation, I was thrown into the whirlwind of finding myself and taking ownership of my life. Something that no one and nothing prepares you for. So, I have decided I am going to live my dream, achieve my goals, do work that makes me feel fulfilled, and inspire others to do the same along the way.

I am currently living in Peru and volunteering and working with impoverished women of Huanchaco. I am teaching empowerment, business, and self-love as we are creating a knitting and crocheting group. After three months, I fell in love with the people, the work, and the feeling of fulfillment I was getting each day. I decided to take a leap of faith and cancel my plane ticket home, following only a dream and an intuitive feeling and leaving rational and logical thinking in the dust.

So, here I am and here you are. I hope you can find inspiration and motivation with my journey as you embark on yours:)

About the Blog:

This idea came to me as I was hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I wanted a place where people can feel inspired, moved, and transformed as I share my experiences and journey through life. I wanted to create a space I can share my thoughts, ideas, writing, and projects and others can do the same.

I always am working on several projects at once. I find joy in working on things that align with my heart and passion. So, here is a place where I will share the projects I am working on and offer ways to get involved, events that are coming up, and ways to contact me for speaking events and workshops. An “All-in-One” if you will. So, sit back, explore my life through this lens, and get ready to tackle your dreams, achieve your goals, and inspire others to do the same!
